Equipment

  • 1 Salad Bowl
  • 1 Mixing Spoon

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Rotisserie Chicken pulled
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 3 Pieces Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise 120 milliliters
  • 1/2 Piece Red Onion 1.94 ounces, chopped
  • 2 Sticks Celery 4.58 ounces, finely diced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano

Instructions

  • Chop the celery, red onion, and parsley, then mince the garlic. Measure out the spices and set aside the mayonnaise for quick mixing.
  • Remove the meat from the rotisserie chicken and shred it into bite-sized pieces using your hands or two forks. Place the chicken in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the chopped vegetables, garlic, parsley, spices, and mayonnaise to the bowl of chicken. Mix well until creamy and evenly coated, then adjust seasoning before serving or refrigerating.

Notes

  • Always start with cooked chicken that is tender and flavorful. This makes your salad taste fresh and prevents it from being dry.
  • Chop your veggies and herbs evenly for a consistent texture. It helps every bite have a balanced flavor.
  • Mix your dressing separately before adding to the chicken. This ensures the flavors coat everything evenly.
  • Keep your salad chilled before serving. Cold chicken salad tastes fresher and holds its texture better.
