Instructions

  • Wash and pat chicken wings dry to remove excess moisture, then prepare your BBQ sauce in a bowl and preheat the oven to 425°Fahrenheit (220°Celsius).
  • Place wings in a bowl, pour BBQ sauce over them, and brush or toss until evenly coated; for stronger flavor, dip each wing directly in the sauce.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to deepen the flavor, or skip if short on time.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment, arrange wings in a single layer, and bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  • Pat the wings dry before adding sauce. This helps them crisp up in the oven.
  • Use a wire rack on top of your baking sheet for even cooking and better airflow.
